Accredited by both the American Sanctuary Association (ASA) and the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries (GFAS), Wolf Haven has rescued and provided a lifetime home to over 325 captive-born wolves, wolfdogs, and coyotes since 1982 at our sanctuary locations in Tenino, Washington and Bridger, Montana. Facilities Manager

Wolf Haven International is hiring a full-time Facilities Manager to join our team! This position is responsible for managing and maintaining Wolf Haven’s facilities, grounds, and equipment at its 82-acre headquarters in Tenino, Washington. Essential job functions include identifying priority maintenance tasks and facility upgrades, coordinating and scheduling activities according to quarterly and annual timetables, consulting with other staff, acting as the organization’s primary contact with external contractors as necessary, and maintaining detailed records and budgets for all related activities.

 

The Facilities Manager does NOT work directly with wolves but may occasionally be asked to assist in specific sanctuary-related tasks, under the guidance of and with the support of the Sanctuary Director and the animal care team.

As a nonprofit organization, Wolf Haven receives no federal or state funding and depends on people like you to help us carry out our mission of conserving and protecting wolves and their habitat.​ Volunteers help us to increase understanding, appreciation, and conservation of wolves and wildlife. They serve as ambassadors in the community, promoting Wolf Haven, wolves, and native prairie species.

 

With a variety of different volunteer roles to apply for that are customizable to both your needs and ours, there's no shortage of ways you can help support Wolf Haven.
