Wolf Haven invites you to participate in one of our highly popular amateur photography tours. Photography tours are held in Winter and Fall when the wolves are wearing their winter coats and are generally more active, thanks to cooler temperatures.
Programming begins at 8:00am with a continental breakfast and brief overview presentation. Photographing takes place in the wolf sanctuary beginning at 9:00am and ends no later than 12:00pm.
Tours are limited to ten individuals (minimum of six) and are led by our Professional Wildlife Photographer, Julie Lawrence , and an Animal Care Specialist. During photo tours the sanctuary is closed to the public, which provides, an intimate photographing experience for our guests and the wolves.
Because photos are taken through fencing, certain equipment suggestions do apply. Tripods and monopods are welcome only during photo tours. The Photo Tours takes place in rain, snow, or shine!
Half-Day Photography Tours $75 per person. Photo Tours are scheduled during weekdays only - there are no photo tours on weekends as we are open to the public.
Reservations are REQUIRED. Reservations will be taken for groups of 6 or more. Payment is required from tour group coordinator 2 weeks prior to photo tour date.*
