Lexi came from the now-defunct tourist attraction in Alaska called Wolf Country. Before their rescue, Lexi and 30 wolves and wolfdogs were kept on eight foot drag chains and visitors paid $5 to see them. We can’t say for certain whether Lexi is a wolf or a wolfdog. DNA results showed wolf markers were present but no dog was detected. Regardless, Lexi is a beautiful, petite animal who frequently initiates play with her enclosure mate, London. They are both on the public visitor route.
