Year of Birth: 2006
Wolf Haven resident since: 2010
Tala is one of eighteen red wolves living at Wolf Haven, and we are extremely fortunate and proud to have these highly endangered animals! Tala (which means “wolf” in the Sioux language) arrived in September 2010. Tala is larger than many of his species and though most red wolves have a delicate head shape, his is quite blocky and his snout and jaw are quite square, giving him a strong and mighty appearance. Tala shares an enclosure with female red wolf Nash (F1945).
