About fifty citizen scientists and volunteer experts are converging in the south Sound Saturday for a “bioblitz.” That’s when people get together for a few hours and try to document as many species as possible in one place.
Wolf Haven International has acquired the McCleery Buffalo Wolf Foundation in Montana, the Tenino-based nonprofit announced Tuesday. The foundation is based in Bridger, Montana, which is south of Billings. It is home to 33 captive wolves, property and outbuildings.
