Bio

Luca is a male wolfdog with a beautiful white coat, long lanky legs, and a pink nose. He (and 14 other wolves & wolfdogs) were confiscated by Illinois Department of Natural Resources because their owner did not have proper permits. This was fortunate for Luca and the others, since the owner’s intention was to “pelt out” all the animals. Luca now lives in the first enclosure on the public visitor route, enjoying the peace and comfort of sanctuary with his female wolfdog companion, Little Foot.
